There is no doubt that this Halloween will be different from other years. Despite the fact that this party is much more rooted in countries like the United States, for years in Spain many people have chosen to celebrate in some way (especially in disguise) the “most terrifying night of the year”. However, the coronavirus and measures to address it have made it clear that there will not be much to celebrate.
That does not mean that there are brands that are committed to celebrating Halloween in some way. A clear example is that of Google. The American company has made available to all its users the possibility of “making appear” horror characters related to this holiday through augmented reality.
Working with my new Halloween friend today 🎃👻.
Just @google 'human skeleton' or 'halloween' or 'black cat', tap on 'View in 3D' and enjoy the new Augmented Reality creatures in Search! pic.twitter.com/CC33wwm2w4

Best of all, all you need is a mobile device to “invoke” these elements. To do this, you just have to do a search in the Google app or in the browser bar on your mobile and then click on the “view in 3D” button to see the animation in your own home.
From the camera, you can take photos or record a video in which the ghost appears (or whatever we have invoked). For the photo, you have to press the shutter button and for the video, you have to hold down.
To make these elements appear, just type the following in the search bar:
- Halloween: a ghost appears.
- Human skeleton: a dancing skeleton.
- Hot Dog: a dog dressed as a hot dog
- Jack-o-lantern: Halloween calabzas
- Black Cat: a black cat with a witch hat.
- German Shepherd: a dog dressed as a pirate.
