Google has finally decided to launch a dark theme for search on computers. The change had already been detected in December, but the feature is now official and will be rolled out to all users “for the next several weeks,” according to an update from a Google product support manager.
You can activate the new theme, not quite black, by heading into Settings> Search Settings> Appearance and selecting “dark.” There is also a “default device” option that will automatically update the theme based on your device settings.
Of course, it may not yet be available to you. Although the change is starting to roll out now, it could take a few more days or weeks before it is available to everyone.
