At the moment, Ghostwire: Tokyo has not revealed too many details about its playable or narrative approach, but the creators of The Evil Within have already advanced the functions it will have in the new DualSense remote of PS5 to convey to the player that, indeed, is inside a horror story.
According to new information published in Play Magazine (via Gameinfinitus), the idea is that the DualSense is like a sixth sense for the player and help you explore this grim version of Tokyo city and be alert to any danger. In this way, the speaker on the remote will be able to play the sound of the streets or from the rain to offer another point of immersion together with the tactile response of the haptic vibration.
While the possibility that there are certain puzzles where you have to use specific functions of the DualSense, the magazine places special emphasis on combat. In Ghostwire: Tokyo there are no firearms, so all melee movements and magic that are used during clashes will have a unique response in adaptive triggers and haptic vibration of the PS5 controller.
Ghostwire: Tokyo does not have a release date yet, but we know that it will come to PS5 and PC, like Deathloop, who will star tonight in a new State of Play.
