Although Borderlands 3 is the last main installment in the series, Gearbox released the spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands on April 25 of this year, so it may be several years before Borderlands 4 is released. Although a sequel has yet to be announced, Randy Pitchford said that UE5 was an engine made for a new generation of Borderlands, which hints that they would already be working on one.
