The general director of Cenatra, José Salvador Aburto Morales, stressed that Mexico has a regulated donation and transplant system in accordance with the General Health Law, that guarantees fairness as well as transparency during the process.
“The donation is such a generous and loving act that distinguishes Mexicans; That is why this National Day of Organs and Tissues is celebrated, established by presidential decree since 2006”, he said, also recognizing the HGM work team.
That said, the head of transplants at the General Hospital of Mexico, Aczel Sánchez Cedillo, thanked all the people who have had the strength to respect the will of a relative after their death, as well as those who are living donors.
