In great news for the entire gaming community, RisingWings, a subsidiary of KRAFTON, Inc., has recently announced that its first broadcast of Picture For Profile (PFP) NFTs will be published through its global esports service based on on blockchain, COMPETZ.
Something that seems quite curious to us is that the NFT PFPs can be used as profile images for COMPETZ and 1,000 PFPs will be issued in the first issue. The PFPs will be available for purchase on the BORA PORTAL blockchain platform for one hour starting on April 27 at 7 a.m. Eastern Time (EST).
Users who have made an early deposit from May 9 at 6:00 AM to May 10 at 6:00 AM Eastern Time (EST) will be able to participate in the broadcast, as well as users who acquire the COMPETZ PFPs, they will receive additional benefits. Below is a breakdown of the benefits users can expect from purchasing a PFP:
- COMPETZ Benefits – Users who purchase PFPs will have the opportunity to receive a portion of the revenue from entry fees for games that will be playable at COMPETZ later this year. There will be five different rarity levels of PFPs, Legendary, Epic, Rare, Uncommon, and Common, with users receiving higher rewards the rarer the PFP. If users own two or more PFPs, the applied benefits will be accumulated.
- White list – Users who purchase a PFP will be added to a whitelist for additional minting opportunities in the future. These whitelists will allow users the right to participate first in future NFT minting or to buy them at a cheaper price.
- airdrop event – The Airdrop event will be available for PFP buyers and will reward one person with 1,000 BORA tokens (tBORA) and 300 tBORA will be awarded to users who have purchased three or more PFPs.
“To drive excitement for the upcoming games to be served at COMPETZ, we have scheduled the first official broadcast of PFP for users to enjoy,” said RisingWings Vice President Moon-chul Kang.
“In addition to the first PFP broadcast, we are also planning to release an NFT game skin, so stay tuned for more information on the various events we have scheduled for the future.” COMPETZ is a blockchain-based esports service where players can compete and earn rewards based on their skills and experience.
Leveraging its expertise in developing world-class mobile gaming experiences (Archery King, Bowling King, Mini Golf King, and Golf King: World Tour), RisingWings will develop several new games for the service launching this year. Players will soon be able to compete against other players in games that are easy to learn but difficult to master, such as solitaire, bingo, pool, miniature golf, and hunting.
