The reception of PS Plus Extra and Premium has been quite revealing for the service. Many are enjoying its offerings, and while it hasn’t been perfect, it looks good for the future. some games of PS Plus Extra Y Premium they’re already scheduled to go out of service, but that’s okay, as more are coming.
For example, new titles for the top tier will be announced in mid-July and will include at least the Day One release of Stray. The essential level of PS Plus also advances, being essentially the same as that of PSPlus previous.
In June 2022, fans got access to God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Yesterday was the last full day that fans were able to get their hands on them, as they have been replaced by the free games from PSPlus by July 2022.
New PS Plus essential tier games for July 2022 include Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, The Dark Pictures Anthology, and Arcadegeddon. At least it seems like July’s free games are generally better than June’s.
None of June’s games had good reviews, apart from God of War. Meanwhile, Crash Bandicoot 4 has an average of 85, and Man of Medan has an average of 71 on OpenCritic.
While downloading these games, keep in mind that anyone with access to PS Plus Extra and Premium was already able to check out Man of Medan. It was also the case with God of War last month, so let’s hope this “replay” trend doesn’t last too long as PS Plus settles into its new tiered service.
