According to Creative Director and Lead Audio Designer Mike Brown and Fraser Strachan respectively, Forza Horizon 5 detects objects in the world, making use of them to improve its audio, providing the game with the ability to reproduce how it would be to approach these objects, taking into account variations both in distance and in the appropriate sharpness for each case.
