Resellers offered tickets for this Saturday in the blue zone at 25,000 pesos and for Sunday the ticket is priced at up to 30,000.
Like most of the entertainment or sporting events this year that have come to Mexico, people have done everything to obtain a precious ticket. Formula 1 is not far behind, since the announcement of the online sale of tickets collapsed, and sold out, leading many people to fall into the hands of resellers, As this Saturday, the Secretary of Citizen Security (SSC), Omar García Harfuch, warned about the resellers of fake badges and tickets for the Mexican GP.
As one of the most important places for Formula 1, Mexico has always surprised with the attendance at the GP. According to data from specialist media, since the Mexican event was reinstated on the calendar in 2015, the public has given it a great reception, being one of the Grand Prix that receives the most fans each season.
That is why the Autodromo de los Hermanos Rodríguez has registered more than 100,000 daily attendees in each edition, with three days of activities each, leaving an important economic benefit for the Aztec country.
For this year and according to the capital authorities, the expectation is that the record can be broken in 2022.
According to the estimates of the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDECO), the economic benefit of the Grand Prix will be mainly composed of the sale of tickets with 4 thousand 731 million 264 thousand pesos; another 7 thousand 236 million pesos for coverage, transmission and media; tourist services for one thousand 369 million 341 thousand pesos; sale of articles and souvenirs one thousand 568 million pesos; sale of food and beverages inside the Autodromo and nearby areas 199 million 500 thousand pesos; hotel activity 264 million 600 thousand pesos; and profits from transportation services will be 168 million pesos.
They expose false resale in the GP of Mexico

According to these statements, 40 subjects had been arrested for ticket resale, 16 of them repeat offenders.
