The launch of PlayStation 5 was accompanied by a big change in Sony’s PlayStation Plus subscription service. Instead of subscribers receiving just two PS4 games, they also received one PS5 game.
The first free PS5 game for PS Plus was Bugsnax, a quirky indie game from developer Young Horses in which players explore a strange island populated by living food. And what is more strange, when consuming these living foods, parts of the body are transformed into that food.
The reviews of Bugsnax were mostly positive upon release, with the game receiving praise for its unique premise and engaging story. The game has been a PlayStation console exclusive since its release in 2020, but that will change soon.
Young Horses has confirmed that Bugsnax It’s coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox later this month, and not only that, but it’s coming as a Day One game to Xbox GamePass.
Bugsnax will be available on non-PlayStation platforms starting Thursday, April 28. It will be available on Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, and users will be able to check it out via Xbox GamePass Y PC GamePass.
Bugsnax It will also be possible to play through the cloud, so subscribers of Xbox GamePass they can play it how they want.
