The 24 Hours of Nürburgring returned to normal in 2021, albeit with a large due. The race was played with 10,000 fans in the stands of the ‘Grand Prix’ track, but with no public presence on the Nordschleife. Without camping points, the race lost part of its show, something to which the fog also contributed, drawing the shortest test in the history of the event with 59 laps and just nine hours of real racing. Nevertheless, everything seems different for this year.
In fact, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in 2022 is the fiftieth edition of the testsomething that fans can celebrate as God intended. Camping is already part of the landscape of the Eifel forests, which gives another color to the test. Before starting the competition, the Ferrari #26 is the rival to beat after achieving pole at the hands of Luca Ludwig with his lap in 8:09.469
