Adidas Originals Launches Adidas for Prada Re-source Project in Collaboration with Digital Artist Zach Lieberman at SuperRare. Most of the proceeds from NFT sales will be donated to Slow Factory, a non-profit organization and institute dedicated to improving sustainability and environmental education.
Adidas and Prada invite their communities to share anonymous photos in the open metaverse NFT project. 3,000 pieces of art will be chosen from the community and minted as NFTs. Digital artist Zach Lieberman will collect the tiled images into a single massive NFT layout. Contributors will retain ownership rights to their individual tiles.

UNICEF celebrates its 75th anniversary with an NFT collection
On the eve of UNICEF’s 75th anniversary, the UN children’s agency launched its largest data-driven 1,000 NFT collection in support of internet connectivity in schools. So far, $740,000 has been raised.
The first 1,000 NFT pieces raised $550,000, and pre-sale of one limited-edition piece and four others last week at an auction in St. Moritz raised $140,000. UNICEF also reached an agreement with secondary auction platforms to receive 20% royalties from all future sales, raising an additional $50,000 in one week, according to the organization.. This royalty structure may allow UNICEF to continue to raise funds for its Giga school connectivity initiative through resales for years to come.
WAX will airdrop 10 million NFTs
WAX has reached recently a total of 11 million wallet accounts on the WAX platform and has decided to celebrate with a airdrop for a total of 10 million free NFT collectibles to the first 10 million wallet holders. It is the largest NFT airdrop to date, according to the company, and will reportedly be carbon neutral.
Free NFTs span 10 different digital badges, each marking a different moment in WAX history: From its Mainnet launch in 2019 to its WAX Cloud Wallet launches and its collaboration with AMC and Spiderman.
Other Nifty News
Social media networks also made headlines for NFTs this week. Reportedly, Meta plans to integrate NFTs into Facebook and Instagram profiles to allow its users to display their NFTs. Meta could also be discussing the launch of an NFT market.
Twitter, for its part, has announced the launch of NFT hexagonal avatars. For now, only paying subscribers of Twitter Blue with iOS, which costs $2.99 per month, have access. However, Twitter users were quick to point out that anyone can simply right-click to save any NFT from a Twitter profile, mint it, and then use it as their avatar.
