Consumer complaints against brands that sell food and that they are unhealthy because they have an insect or foreign object have become a very recurrent content on social networks. It is the case of a consumer from La Esperanza who denounced the brand after buying a flan and realizing that he had a cockroach when he was eating it.
The quality control of a product and more when it comes to food is one of the main factors that a brand must carry out when offering a good experience to the consumer. Product quality is important; nevertheless, in food products is essential since if it is not complied with it can harm the health of consumers.
Let us remember that quality is the factor that will make a product stand out from the competition and that the customer ends up choosing in his purchase decision. A study prepared by SCA, refers that the lack of hygiene and inadequate cleaning are key aspects in the success or failure of a bar or restaurant.
Consumer denounces La Esperanza for selling him a flan with cockroach
Through his account on the social network Twitter, a consumer of the famous Mexican bakery shared what for him was a bad experience with the brands buy a flan and this bring a cockroach.
In his tweets published on his @Rau2Lo account, the Internet user share the video where you can see the piece of flan with the dead insect in the food.
Faced with this situation, the consumer did not hesitate to make the digital complaint and explain that he was a loyal customer of the brand but After receiving the flan in these conditions, he will no longer buy from it.
He also shares that the flan was bought at one of its branches located in the Escuadrón neighborhood. in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.

In Mexico, there is an organization that is dedicated to following up on complaints of this type that are sanitary and it is the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris), which in its legal framework details that “A health complaint allows you to point out the facts, acts or omissions that represent a risk or cause damage to health and provide the data that allows you to identify and locate the causes of the risk.”
This health complaint is not the only one that is registered against brands on social networks, there is the case of a consumer who exposed the firm El Pollo Loco for selling her some charro beans and it contains a cockroach.

As well as those of an Oxxo consumer who asserted through a Twitter post that the brand sold him a coffee with cockroach eggs, for which he was outraged and complained about the digital pulse.
