Netflix revealed the first trailer for mystery in sight. This is the long-awaited sequel to mystery on board, one of the most historically successful films on the platform. Of course, having the likes of Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston at the helm of the cast should be enough to get the job done. But it also highlights its story full of action, crimes and a mystery ready to be solved.
Although the first film took place aboard a luxurious ship, this time the second part will take the public on an international journey. The premiere of mystery in sightwithout a doubt it is emerging as one of the most anticipated by Netflix fans.
What will it be about?
Netflix shares the following official synopsis:
“Four years after solving their first murder mystery, Nick and Audrey Spitz (Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston) are now full-time detectives struggling to get their private detective agency off the ground when they are invited to celebrate the wedding of their friend the Maharajah. (Adeel Akhtar) on his private island. But the Spitz run into trouble again when the groom is kidnapped for ransom shortly after the festivities begin. Which makes every glamorous guest, family members and the bride herself suspicious. mystery in sight sends Nick and Audrey Spitz on a high-stakes case that finally gives them everything they’ve ever dreamed of: a chance for their detective agency to succeed…and their long-awaited trip to Paris.”
Production team and cast
On this occasion, mystery in sight will be led by Jeremy Garelick, who has directed comedies like groomsmen rental (2015) and The Binge (2020). The script is authored by James Vanderbilt, who also wrote the first film. Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston are executive producers.
The second parts are only good if the main stars return. Fortunately, the duo made up of Adam Sandler (Click: losing control) Y Jennifer Aniston (Who are the Miller?) is back. The two are currently considered some of the most beloved actors by the public.
Joining the pair will be French actress Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Bastards), Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Golden Circle), Adeel Akhtar (Enola Holmes 2), John Kani (Black Panther) and Tony Goldwyn (Extreme Alert). A dream team.
