Ahead of its December release, Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion is shown in new footage.
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion It was announced by surprise as part of the 25th anniversary of the subsaga that emerged from Final Fantasy VII and, although it is true that it has been considered a remastering, the project has gone further, at least as far as its graphic update is concerned. The title borders on the remake, something that has also been seen when showing the gameplay, but not in the story, which will remain intact compared to the original. Nevertheless, every time new images are published it is impressive to see the improved graphic.
The medium 4Gamer has had the opportunity to publish up to 18 new Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion screenshots in which we can see both cinematics and moments of action through combat. Thus, we have been able to see the renewed appearance of the slimy Professor Hojo or the protagonist Zack Fair and the Turkish members Reno and Rude.
Given the improved aspect of Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion, it is also surprising that Square Enix is not promoting this title announced with less than half a year of margin before its launch. However, from AlfaBetaJuega we have had the opportunity to test the game to give you our first impressions.
Something more than a remaster
Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII Reunion will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, via Steam, next December 13, 2022. Remastering of the 2007 PSP exclusive action role-playing game, it works as a prequel to Final Fantasy VII through the story of the soldier zack on his quest to locate a Private First Class named Genesis Rhapsodos who has gone missing. Characters already known to players such as Cloud, Sefirot and Aeris appear in the title, being a perfect anticipation of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
