100 days left until the launch of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and although it does not seem that Game Freak or The Pokémon Company feel especially dedicated to this generation, it is logical that, as the launch approaches, more and more information will come out.
Meanwhile, many have turned to the various rumors and leaks about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet what’s out there And some have turned out to be true, others have come from reliable sources, and still others have come from bad sources and have been shown to be false. But fans of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet should take all unofficial information with a grain of salt, regardless of the source’s background.
Now, a leaker known as Poryleeks claims to have new details about the High Command, a new Ghost-type Pokémon, and much more, and it all sounds interesting, but it can’t be proven true or false, so take it with a grain of salt.
Poryleeks reveals that there is an Earth-type member in the High Command, having previously revealed that there would be a Dragon-type member and a Flying-type member. However, what stood out about this lineup is that each member would be weak to Ice-type, if this turns out to be legit.
In theory, this would make three of the four coaches in Pokemon Elite Pokémon would be easy to beat with the right build, but keep in mind that they’ll likely also have powerful Tera-type Pokémon, so it might not be that easy.
Poryleeks also reveals that there will be a new Ghost Pokémon, but further confirms that its design will be based on a coin. It could be something of a gold-based Ghost-Steel type, in keeping with the region’s history of piracy, and it would be interesting to see if the final form was as a possessed chest filled with gold and coins.
Of course, this is just speculation on a rumor at this point. It also reveals that the region’s legendary quartet isn’t Dragon- or Fairy-type based and that there may not be any racing minigames in it. Pokémon Scarlet and Violetpotentially debunking another rumor, as players can ride Koraidon and Miraidon.
However, there’s no way of knowing if this is all real until Game Freak officially announces all of this.
