Through different axes of analysis, it explains and anticipates the opportunities that we could capture in our businesses regardless of the industry in which we participate, because as soon as you review it, you will see how wide the spectrum is included in this great work.

An important place in that narrative, as well as in countless specialized spaces, is occupied by the trending topic, which we are all talking about in awe and which also keeps us on our toes: artificial intelligence.

It should be noted that the first approach to AI (artificial intelligence) that has become popular has more to do with entertainment or art than with practical utility, since we have all been prey to videos that show us characters. audiences saying things that they never really mentioned or the automatic creation of texts with just a couple of lines as raw material and what to say about the reinterpretation of works of art based on this innovative technology.

There is still a long way to go to find out what can happen in the future and fears, uncertainty and ecstasy come face to face in one of the most interesting moments for the technological development of humanity.

I would like to throw some questions that are around my head to establish where we are going with what is coming before us, will you accompany me?

SOME PROVOCATIONS
Is it really that new? Not entirely and not because Instagram filters or Google searches are based on artificial intelligence and are now part of our daily lives, but because it finds its origins at the end of the 19th century with exponents such as George Boole mathematician considered as the architect of current digitization given his work with systems of equations or Alan Turing, English mathematician who is credited with having coined the concept of algorithm as well as having saved millions of lives as a result of having intercepted certain Nazi codes.

Are we going to be jobless?? Investigator Carlos Gershenson declared for the UNAM gazette that artificial intelligence “…will lead us to develop new technologies, will make us have autonomous vehicles and will even change our society and economy; however, such changes will not be so radical as to take away our jobs and leave us unemployed.”
Just think that a few years ago there were no influencers (not to be confused with opinion leaders) or community managers because there were no social networks, but in the same way there was no Agrobusiness or biotechnology career… all this is part of social and economic evolution of humanity.

Are the creatives cheating? The creation of content, advertising pieces or any other element that uses artificial intelligence as inspiration, will allow this to be a kind of shortcut or a tool to unlock artistic processes and the moral or professional debate can be set aside if we are able to cite the source used while the legal rules are generated.
Think that prior to the popularization of the carriage, there were no road rules and when they emerged, they had to adapt with the invention of automobiles because the environment was also different.

And agriculture? Well, it is not the exception because from data mining, geolocation, the reading of the DNA of the species, satellite photography and its interpretations, they are already using artificial intelligence.

There is no doubt that the lags of some regions coexist day by day with the accelerated adoption of new technologies. Technified irrigation systems reduce the time dedicated to agricultural work and also the number of employees per hectare, but jobs are transformed to give way to sophisticated ways of combining biology or agronomy with disciplines such as AI.

SOWING REFLECTION
The use of intelligence (just like that, naturally) seems to be a secondary resource when we imagine that technology is going to do everything. Personally, I believe that we already experience this with calculators, calculation programs and now with artificial intelligence: the anglicism “shit in, shit out” will continue to be imposed since the partial, incorrect or inconsequential use of technology will not replace the talent of make decisions and free will and on the other hand, the adequate, professional and intelligent application of these new tools, will make people not focus on more important things every time … oh and what I most wish is that we do not lose the ability to learn by making mistakes, like good humans.

But please tell me what you think…
