If a few days ago there was a mess in networks due to a hoax (or misunderstanding) that suggested that Shein could close in Europe, the latest official and verified news could not paint a more opposite scenario. And it is that the Chinese fashion firm will open its first pop-up store in Madrid. We tell you everything we know.
When?
After the success of this initiative in countries such as France, Mexico and the United States, Madrid is the setting chosen to host the first pop-up Shein store in Spain. Will be next Thursday June 2when all the fans of the brand and the curious who want to have a first contact with the firm will be able to enjoy a physical purchase.
Where?
The temporary store of the online retailer that has challenged the hegemony of Zara and H&M will open its doors until Sunday June 5 at the Sandoval street, 3 (Ephemeral Space). It is one of the most central shopping areas in Madrid, very close to the iconic Fuencarral street.
What time?
At this point you can purchase items from the fashion collections for women and men for four days at the following times:
- Thursday: from 2:00 p.m. at 10:00 p.m.
- Friday: from 10.00 a.m. at 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday: from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Sunday: from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Founded in 2008 by Chris Xu in Nanjing, China, Shein reaches consumers in more than 150 countries around the world after growing exponentially in recent years to become America’s (ultra)fast fashion retailer. Although they have not done so without criticism since the firm has been pointed out by the environmental impact of your business model, resorting to the use of polyester in most of its garments to achieve very low prices.
Be that as it may, the truth is that Shein is currently living its golden age, with sales that reached ten billion dollars in 2020 and with United States in the lead as its largest market.
