When it comes to getting a device to integrate into the connected home, it is essential to take care of the purchase process. The objective is none other than not mistaking the ecosystem in which we are going to integrate the new acquisition. Whether to work with Amazon and Alexa, with Google Home or are HomeKit and Siri, we must look at the specifications of the box.
And especially with the Apple platform, which is the one that has fewer options, at least compared to the other two. With a shorter catalog, however, there are manufacturers that are clearly betting on the Apple platform and this is what happens with Eve, the firm that is now preparing the arrival of its new surveillance camera compatible with HomeKit.
Only for HomeKit
Eve Systems is about to launch Eve Cam, a connected indoor security camera that will be exclusive to HomeKit. A camera that offers among the specifications a video resolution of 1080p, a field of view of 150 degrees.
In addition, to improve the image quality, since the resolution is quite fair, it has an infrared motion detection system and night vision, with a system that offers coverage of up to five meters. To be able to interact remotely, it incorporates a two-way communication system.
A model that will also be compatible with HomeKit Secure Video so that users will have the possibility to view, store and share the recordings generated on all Apple devices that have access to the iCloud account.
Price and availability
Available from June 23, it can already be booked on the manufacturer’s website at a price of 149.94 euros.
