Keep an eye on Epic Games!
As is customary in every friday for years, the video game launcher of the Epic Games Store re-reveals its next free game. With this striking policy, Epic Games intends to increase player traffic on its servers and, although it currently means investing huge amounts of money in it, they remain firm in this long-term project. Meanwhile, the free triple combo that was revealed last week has arrived this week: Centipede: Recharged, Black Widow: Recharged, and the exclusive item pack for the free-to-play Dauntless. And next week, we already know that the replacement for these games will be the award-winning city simulator Cities: Skylines.
As for the games arriving this week, we find a strong shoot ’em up focus, as both Centipede: Recharged and Black Widow: Recharged are two classic style arcade shooters that will require great skill to destroy all the threats that hang over us. Instead, in Dauntless we find a free game in which we can hunt beasts cooperatively and that, with the received pack, we will have coins and objects that will speed up our progress.
For next week, yes, Cities: Skylines will offer us a diametrically opposed proposal. While in this week’s games we will have to use our skills to achieve our goals, this title will mentally require us to have an attention span that is efficient enough to make a functional city that lives up to the expectations of the citizens that our population will inhabit . Knowing how to manage each of the resources may sound simple, but it is not a challenge within everyone’s reach. Also, being Cities: Skylines one of the best rated city simulators in the world of video gamesEpic Games offers a valuable experience for those who enjoy management video games.
