The director of the Mar de Cortés Forum, Juan Pablo Yamuni Robles, explained that the event is a platform that was born to promote business development in the area that includes the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Sinaloa and Sonora.
At the inauguration, speakers and panelists highlighted that the Foro Mar de Cortés Summit 2022 is an annual platform that pursues the purpose of creating synergies focused on sustainable development through innovation in the states of Baja California, Baja California Sur, Nayarit, Sinaloa and Sonora.
In this second edition, the theme Mission Prosperity, how can companies, government, civil society, communities and academia develop an economy that promotes inclusive prosperity within the limits of nature? will be the priority to analyze.
The starter table with the theme Business and Family Succession It was in charge of three panelists who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurs and family commitment as a legacy of development. Susana Coppel García, president of the Coppel Foundation; Gastón Luken Aguilar, director of Pronatura Noroeste; Jesús Ramón Rojo Mancillas, content coordinator at the Mar de Cortés Forum, who were moderated by Rodolfo Rubio.
The president of Fundación Coppel, Susana Coppel García, stressed that generosity is one of the best legacies for creating businesses.
“To the extent that we, as younger people, see the people who have come before us with empathy is how we can have more sustainable companies,” he reflected.
It was recalled that the Mar de Cortés Forum is a civil organization that articulates capacities and talents to design the economic ecosystem of the region, under a development model that generates inclusive prosperity, while reconciling the production of goods and services with the limits of the nature.
