This space known as Startup Gardenis an initiative created to promote and disseminate new companies within the entrepreneurial ecosystem of our country that use some type of blockchain technology, have an innovative, scalable and replicable business model, develop proposals that generate social or environmental impact; and have services or products that solve problems effectively.
“Startup Garden is a space within the Blockchain, in which new companies have the opportunity to exhibit their products, be seen by investors and be a source of inspiration for other entrepreneurs looking to land their ideas for new products or services.”, explained Ángel Blanco, director of the initiative.
Depending on the products and services offered, the companies will be divided into: education, finance, real estate, industrial, creative industries and investments.
EveryDay DeFi, the challenge of the Talent Hackathon
Of course, not only companies will be able to show what they are made of since this year the traditional Talent Hackaton Blockchain returns, the challenge that the participants will have to face will be EveryDay DeFi, “Decentralized finance for every day” which will have a bag of up to $20,000 dollars as a prize.
This year’s challenge was proposed by the company RSK, and consists of a competition against the clock in which the participants will have to create a useful and practical application and to achieve this they will have the advice and support of expert mentors, both from the public and private sectors.
For this edition, the Talent Hackathon will be held online, offering the possibility for talents from anywhere in the world to participate.
“NOur main intention is to promote the growth of new developers, and initiate new talents in blockchain technology. In addition, the winning teams will be candidates for the RSK Ambassadors program, which is why we also promote the link between young talents and companies.”, detailed Adán Avelar, director of Talent Hackathon.
According to the press release, This track is focused on web2 Developers: without prior knowledge in blockchain development but with experience in software development on other platforms and for web3 Developers: with prior experience in developing smart contracts and DApps.
Those interested have until October 4 to register, they can do it individually or in teams. The winners will be announced on October 6, within the framework of Blockchain Land Nuevo León 2022.
