In an interview with ‘CNBC’, the businessman has defended that the whole notion of teleworking “is a bit like the fake Marie Antoinette quote‘Let them eat cake’” when referring to the fact that other workers can’t enjoy it and they must come to their post daily.
In this sense, he has criticized that those whom he has referred to as “the laptop class want to telework, while “people who have to go to the factoryprepare your food, or they can repair your house cannot work remotely”.
“The classes of laptop they live in ‘La-la-land’, but the people who make all the things they consume have to go to their jobs (…) It is no longer just a matter of productivitybut I think it is morally wrong”, he pointed out.
