Through a statement, the organizations announced that to achieve their goal they will exchange information on the regions, territories, industries, services and contacts that consolidate business opportunities in the key sectors of the economy.
They detailed that they also seek the joint participation of a “strategic agenda in promotional events that project Mexico and the Bajío in fairs, trade missions and forums, as well as the realization of webinars, activities, seminars and training that contribute to the strengthening of the bilateral relations and the development of strategic projects”.
The agreement was signed by the president and co-founder of El Gran Bajío, Federico Quinzaños, and the executive president of China Chamber México, Víctor Méndez.
Both leaders agreed that this alliance is one more step to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between Mexico and China, two countries that share a common vision of development and innovation.
“This alliance will allow expanding the collaboration network with trade and investment promoting entities in China and Mexico, as well as offering services to reduce risks and economic losses in operations between the two countries,” said Méndez.
Also present at the signing of the agreement were Ángel Friscione, director of ASIA IBS and Commissioner of the Council of China Chamber Mexico; Samanta Anguiano, deputy director of China Chamber Mexico; José Alberto Balbuena, Chairman of the Board of Grupo Expansión; Carolina Núñez, director of the China Chamber; César Fragoso, vice president of the chamber; José Luis Romero Hicks, managing partner of Romero Hicks & Galindo; as well as Diana Gamboa, communication manager of China Chamber Mexico.
