Although some sectors of the Government of Mexico seem to be totally against video games, there are some people who are aware of the positive side of this form of entertainment and its popularity. In this way, to celebrate the Gamer’s Day, Jaime Rodriguez, Governor of Nuevo León and better known as “El Bronco”, decided to join this celebration, as strange as it sounds.
In his official Twitter account, El Bronco shared a message celebrating the players of Nuevo León, where he pointed out that, instead of going out to party, you better stay home and play Call of Duty, Pokémon Unite or King of Fighters with your friends online. This was what he commented:
“I want to congratulate the NL gamers for being their day, have a great time and celebrate from home. Do not invite your friends to a club or bar, invite them to play Call of Duty, Pokémon Unite or some challenges in the KOF online, but without using Rugal ”.

Along with this, the image that was shared presents the governor of Nuevo León as if he were a Twitch streamer, with everything and a series of comments from personalities such as Vegeta777, Noobmaster69 and Maribel Guardia. Without a doubt, a quite entertaining way to celebrate this day.
While this position is surely just a recommendation by political advisers to reach out to young people, this is still a positive message, especially considering the recent comments by the government of Mexico City, which point out the negative elements of this form of entertainment.
