From time to time the FayerWayer community sends us data from geeky SMEs. Entrepreneurs who, being fans of anime series, movies, comics and the technological world, create unique items that are highly appreciated by those of us who have those tastes. A few days before Christmas, we bring you a piece of information to decorate your tree: @MUNDOEDY_ART
His technique is what is known as “pixel art”, where they take small pieces of plastic and, following patterns, they are joined with color. Edy (Edgard Vidal Cid) recently turned this into a business: on July 1, 2022. “The truth is that I started as a hobby since I’m a fan of consoles, I’m a gamer and an anime fan,” he tells us. Little by little, he was commissioned work and he began to publish his creations on the aforementioned Instagram account.
The most requested?
For Edy, “custom work” is what people commission him the most, mainly video game or anime characters. Her star product for this Christmas is a small tree that goes with a set of 11 figures of her favorite characters, chosen by the customer. At FayerWayer we had access to two sets: one of Super Mario characters and another that was “half and half” between Star Wars characters and Pokémon.
How is it requested?
To order your Christmas decoration sets, all you have to do is write to Edy on his Instagram account. Orders take approximately 3 days to be ready. Different delivery/shipping modalities can be coordinated. In prices, the Mario set (for example) has a value of 10 thousand pesos.
In special models (such as Pokémon or Star Wars) the set has a value of 12 thousand pesos.
other gifts
But if in addition to decorating your tree, you want a creative gift, Edy also makes dream catchers. For example, this beautiful dream catcher from The Legend Of Zelda has a value of 7,000 pesos. And it has several more models! Check her instagram: @MUNDOEDY_ART
