Electronic Arts is not at its best, and the community knows it. After the authentic failure of Battlefield 2042, the last work of DICE, many of us do not know the next steps that the developer studio will take with the work. And because of that, EA asks the community if they would recommend playing Battlefield 2042something that does not surprise us one bit, but that gives us a bit of the situation that is happening with the title.
Many times we have seen how the companies themselves ask their communities in many ways to find out the public’s opinion about their title (after all, they are the ones who play). But this way that EA has had to ask the players (pickup in the middle MP1st) is very, very poor, and denotes a certain abandonment towards DICE’s work, as if the company wanted to get rid of the game.

DICE denies a sequel to Mirror’s Edge and claims to be focused on Battlefield 2042
Let’s hope that over time, DICE can give it the support that the title really needs, or Electronic Arts will start taking more extreme measures, as has happened before in cases like Visceral Games and Dead Space. The only thing we know for sure is that this series deserves something much, much better than what we’ve been getting for the last few years..
