Anthem and Mass Effect: Andromeda were missteps for BioWare, but the legendary RPG developer wants to fix her reputation and put things back on track with her next projects. A new Mass Effect game is in active development, but the next Dragon Age is coming even sooner than that. Dragon Age 4 was first announced at the 2018 Game Awards, and four years later it finally has an official title and logo.
bioware has officially announced that the title of the next Dragon Age game is Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, complete with a new white and purple logo. The game’s title refers to Solas, the Dire Wolf, a character whose involvement in the new game has been announced for years.
And with this, bioware has confirmed that Dragon Age: Dread Wolf will feature Solas as the game’s main antagonist, while a player-created character will be the protagonist.
Unfortunately, for all of you waiting for the release date of Dragon Age: Dread Wolf could be this year, BioWare also confirmed that the game will not be released in 2022. BioWare did not provide any kind of release window for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf other than that “we are getting closer” to the release date. It stands to reason that the game could launch in 2023, but fans will want to keep their expectations in check until more details are forthcoming.
In fact, more details on Dragon Age: Dreadwolf are coming sometime this year. Developer BioWare hasn’t provided a specific date when fans can learn more about Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, but we can think of a few possibilities.
