Dragon Ball Z: Why does Piccolo appear with two different colors of blood in the anime?

The official fandom site blames Dragon Ball Z Kai, but the reality is that in Toei Animation’s original series, the one that came out in 2D was the one that changed Piccolo’s blood color in the first place.

The character that appears in the last arc of Dragon Ball, that same Piccolo who fights Goku in the final of the martial arts, bleeds red. The same one that faces Raditz at the beginning of Z goes with the same blood color.

But when the fight against Nappa comes, they change him. It is said that it was to counteract the censorship of television, but the rest of the characters continue to bleed the same.

Akira Toriyama says that he doesn’t know the color. He only explains that he initially thought of Piccolo as a demon and the course of the stories put him as aliens. So, it is nothing less than one of the contradictions in history.
