Mega64 is a YouTube channel known for its comedy videos, where they make parodies of some games. However, they do occasionally do anime content, such as “five-minute” recaps, where they manage to recreate some iconic series with as little budget as possible. Thus, Today they finally released the video where they manage to recreate the Majin Buu saga of Dragon Ball Z.
In the past, Mega64 has given us their “five minute” versions of the Frieza and Cell saga from Dragon Ball Zas well as everything in Evangelion. Now, the comedy group has managed to complete the trilogy of Akira Toriyama’s animeAnd they did it amazingly.
As you may remember, at the end of the original anime, Goku obtains the energy of all the inhabitants of the Earth to defeat Buu. In this way, the Mega64 version concludes in a similar way, but with the help of some of his YouTube friends, like Arin Hanson, as well as some of the biggest video game celebrities, like Hideo Kojima, Gabe Newell, Hironobu Sakaguchiand many more.
Now we just have to wait and see if Mega64 decides to give this same treatment to Dragon Ball GT, Dragon Ball Superor some other anime. On related topics, creator of Jojo’s pays tribute to Dragon Ball. Similarly, Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac will have a second season.
Editor’s note:
Mega64’s work is always interesting, and it’s good to see that their long years in the business have resulted in great friendships with some of the biggest developers in the business.
