‘Dragon Ball’ is one of the biggest and most legendary anime in history, but being able to stream it is a real challenge. The wait may finally be close to over… although while it is decided if it will finally be available on Crunchyroll, we can already see again the first series of ‘Dragon Ball’ in Spain without censorship thanks to ComedyCentral.
In Spain we continue without Toriyama in streaming
The merger between Funimation and Crunchyroll has meant that many anime series become permanently available on the streaming platform, in addition to the fact that in principle new subtitles and dubbing will arrive and even more series and season premieres.
Among other things, legendary anime seriess like ‘One Piece’ or ‘Naruto’ can be seen in their entirety through the platform. And of course, there is also the question of where are the series of ‘Dragonball’ and when will we finally be able to see them in streaming.
The good news is that ‘Dragon Ball’, ‘Dragon Ball Z’ and ‘Dragon Ball GT’ become available on Crunchyroll in the United States in original version with subtitles and dubbing in English. For now it is not known if we will also have this luck in other territories because it will depend a lot on anime licenses, but it is already a first open door that until now had been closed tight and tight.
Right now in Spain Select Vision carries the license for these animes and is releasing the entire series in physical format every few months. Yes, it is true that Selecta has reached agreements with certain platforms to launch some licenses, such as ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’, which is available in streaming with the Spanish dub of the Blu-rays and DVDs.
While this mess of licenses is resolved, we will be able to see ‘Dragon Ball’ again in our country, although we will have to keep an eye on the broadcast schedules. Since this March 14, the original series of ‘Dragon Ball’ is being broadcast in its entirety and without censorship, without cuts or altered dialogues.
