Pokemon fans show their support
After his idea went viral, thousands of Internet users and Pokémon fans did not hesitate to support the doctor’s creativity and congratulate him for honoring his favorite cartoon as part of his professional career.
However, some of the users of the famous social network mentioned that it does not look professional to have a drawing in a medical firm and that patients will most likely be denied their prescription. On the other hand, some colleagues confessed that they also use stamps with characters from their favorite anime, such as Sailor Moon, Digimon or Dragon Ball.
Guidelines that must be met in a medical prescription
In accordance with the provisions of CONAMED and COFEPRIS, The elements required by law that must contain every medical prescription are:
- Full name of the prescribing physician
- Professional license number
- Institution that issues the title
- Date
- Full office address
- Phone
- Physician Signature
It should be noted that the only people who can issue a medical prescription in Mexico are doctors, homeopaths, dental surgeons, veterinarians, social service interns, and nurses and midwives.
Professionals must have a professional license issued by the competent educational authorities. Interns, nurses and midwives may prescribe adjusting to the specifications determined by the Ministry of Health.
