It is common for some Mexicans to have more than one job, either for one reason or another, in which they seek to generate more than one income. However, while this may help the employee have a greater amount of money, implies more responsibilities, especially in the payment of taxes to the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
Having two jobs or a multiple job is helpful for those who require more than a monthly salary to pay for their daily expenses. However, among its benefits there are responsibilities, more so if you quote before the IMSS with both jobs, here we give you the details.
Do you have two jobs? These taxes must be paid
It is necessary to mention that having more than one job in which you contribute with the IMSS, does not make you have to pay more taxes. However, if the two amounts are combined and you are registered as if it were a single job, they give you a greater discount, but in the end it is better, since you contribute more, as in the case of Infonavit.
Also, you are responsible for the SAT, given that by having only one job, your employer is in charge of making your declaration, this according to the salary you earn. On the other hand, when working in more than one company, you must do it on your own, in order to comply with the payment of Income Tax (ISR) and avoid the fines that the dependency may apply to you.
So the annual declaration of your taxes is not optional, but mandatory, since you must do it in order to avoid fines or even fall into a tax discrepancy.
For the above, it is good to have invoices to declare, both for both jobs, as well as for the expenses you have and thus you can have a balance in favor when carrying out said diligence and take advantage of being quoted before the IMSS. Likewise, be careful with the information that is placed to avoid fines with SHCP or, if possible, hire the services of an accountant to avoid problems with the Treasury.
