Since Tesla installed his first Supercharger (Supercharger) in Mexico, that is, its fast charging station for its vehicles, the service has been free for its customers. However, as of November 14, that will change.
Tesla Owners Mexico shared, via Twitter, a statement from the company Elon Musk in which they report that now the owners of these cars in the country must pay for the use of the Supercharger.
This means that users will have to pay a fee per kWh of energy used to charge their vehicle and fees for inactivity as incurred.
explains the auto company.
How much will the service cost?
The rates for the use of superchargers in Mexico have not yet been disclosed and it seems that they will vary depending on the location of the chargers. Users will have access to the recharge costs of the different places through the touch screen of their vehicle.
The first Tesla supercharger in Mexico debuted six years ago in Cuernavaca, Morelos. Right now the company has 53 charging points in the Mexican Republic.
