During last week’s State of Play Capcom announced exoprimalan action game in which dinosaurs invade the earth in the year 2040. Once again fans of Dino Crisis they were left waiting for the announcement of a new game, remake or remaster, but at least we can confirm that the producer of Dino Crisis 2 and 3 is involved in Exoprimal.
Hiroyuki Kobayashi He was a co-designer of the original Dino Crisis and produced Dino Crisis 2 and 3, but his role in Exoprimal is unclear. However, last week Kobayashi made a post on his Twitter account in which he listed the games he has been “deeply involved in”, the latest being Exoprimal.

Some of the games mentioned in the list are Resident Evil, Dino Crisis, PN03, Devil May Cry, Killer 7 and Dragon’s Dogma, but it is unknown what their role in Exoprimal will be. Although we will also see dinosaurs in the new game, it does not seem to share other similarities with Dino Crisis, as Exoprimal is a cooperative multiplayer experience.
Exoprimal features a core game mode called Jurassic Tide, where two teams of 5 players battle it out to complete objectives while surviving waves of dinosaurs, making for both a cooperative and competitive experience. Exoprimal has a multiplayer focus, but it has a narrative that shows us what happened to the world throughout the game.
