In the plot of The Suicide Squad, James Gunn included the fleeting cameo of a villain whose presence in DC Comics dates back to the 1980s.
Under the direction of James Gunn, The Suicide Squad has been a phenomenon for fans, who have hailed the appearance of various DC Comics characters, although there is a cameo that has gone unnoticed by some.

In the feature film, in addition to the lineup that James Gunn placed in Corto Maltese, there were also classic DC villains interned at Belle Rave Penitentiary, albeit one inmate in particular.

The villain in question that we saw in The Suicide Squad is Kaleidoscope, played by actress Natalia Safran, wife of Peter Safran, producer of the film.
Who is Kaleidoscope?
In the comics Kaleidoscope only has a couple of appearances, which go back to the pages of Superboy # 36 and Superboy # 37 (December 1982), created by Chris Lawson and Nancy Mae, two DC Comics readers who submitted their idea for the backup stories titled Dial H for Hero.
Among his powers, Kaleidoscope can create hallucinations and illusions through a light screen.
Even the names Chris Lawson and Nancy Mae appear in the part of special thanks within the final credits of the film, next to names of the stature of John Ostrander, Adam Glass, Jim Lee and Frank Miller.
Starring Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman and Jai Courtney, The Suicide Squad will reprise their roles as Harley Quinn, Amanda Waller, Captain Boomerang and Rick Flag respectively.
The cast of this film is complemented by Idris Elba, John Cena, David Dastmalchian, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Alice Braga, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosio and Sylvester Stallone.
The Suicide Squad is already in theaters in Mexico and the world.
