Loot Boxes have been a controversial topic for the last few years, and it has recently been revealed that Diablo Immortal will not arrive in some countries to include loot boxes. In some countries, any type of loot box in video games is frowned upon since, according to the governments, they are closely linked to gambling, which we do not deny since in most cases you spend huge amounts of money to get that object that will increase your power, or that player that completes your ultimate squad or just a cosmetic that you think is cool but has a very low spawn rate.
Diablo Immortal will not be coming to Belgium and the Netherlands for this reason. For a time Devil Immortal was available for pre-registration in stores like the Apple Store and Google Play Store but disappeared completely only to later announce that for reasons of infraction of laws the game could not be released in those countries. According to the developers, the Diablo Immortal loot boxes do not violate the laws of these countries, however, they will be blocked in the same way.

Many fans were wondering if they could get the game by downloading it from the store in other regions, to which Blizzard replied that their accounts may be banned or they may not be able to access all of the game’s features as this action is illegal to say the least. Diablo Immortal will be available for mobile and PC on June 2, 2022 completely free of charge and with crossplay.
