In 2016, Suicide Squad was one of the most anticipated films by DC fans. However, this film failed to exceed expectations and became a box office failure. Much was said about the various treatments to which the film was subjected before its premiere, which according to the fans ended up affected by it. Among the great criticisms the film received, of course, was Jared Leto’s Joker.
The most criticized character in Suicide Squad was Jared Leto’s Joker, either for his looks or for being different from what fans expected from the role. And although David Ayer, director of the film, took pains to write something especially for the actor, the producers decided that the character would not have as much importance in the film, resulting in a slightly absent Joker. Recently, the director shared a story on Instagram where a deleted scene of the actor appeared.
The image was rescued by some fans who did not hesitate to share it: “Um… @DavidAyerMovies just showed a CLIP OF HIS DIRECTOR’S CUT !! #ReleaseTheAyerCut #IStandWithRayFisher ”.

The David Ayer Cut
After Justice League underwent various production changes, resulting in many film glitches, Zack Snyder’s fans began to demand the Snyder’s Cut. After so much campaign, which was also joined by some cast members, the director managed to get his court green light and HBO Max decided to bet on him.
This very hopeful situation completely motivated David Ayer fans, who want to see the original director’s cut before Warner Bros completely modified it. Unfortunately, no studio, platform or production company was interested in the Suicide Squad cut from Ayer. However, fans continue campaigns without losing faith.
