Dani Juncadella has not had the dream start to the 2021 season in the DTM. The Catalan rider started the GT3 era of the event with some doubts, as problems with the pit stops at Monza and with the set-up at Lausitzring have slowed Dani’s chances of achieving a good result. After four races – two events -, Juncadella has 19 points and has a fifth place as the best positionResults that make him eleventh overall, 50 points behind leader Kelvin Van der Linde. With everything, Spaniard hopes to prove his true worth on the Mercedes-AMG GT3 at Zolder.
In relation to his participation in the third event of the DTM, the Spanish Dani juncadella has assured: «I face the third DTM race of the year with great enthusiasm. Everyone in the team is looking forward to reaping the fruits of the work we have done during the first two races, even if things did not turn out as we expected. Zolder is a circuit where we can be very competitive. What’s more, Zolder is one of my favorite circuits. It is the first European track that I achieved a pole position in Formula BMW in 2008. It is a circuit that I have very good memories of».
