A group of people recently protested in front of the Government Palace in Xalapa, Veracruz, demanding that Dairy Queen to bring back “free cone day”. This demonstration took place in the midst of daily sit-ins and blockades due to security issues, femicides or disappearances.
Protesters argued that due to the pandemic, the tradition of dairy What in giving away ice cream cones for an entire day was suspended. They also argued that with the arrival of spring, temperatures have risen and with it, people need something refreshing.
Anayeli Sánchez was the one who summoned the group of people to make banners to stand on the avenue when the traffic light was up. There was also a virtual protest on social media.
“I have heard rumors and I see that in many places they are demonstrating to return the day of the free cone. “I’m joining because I don’t think it’s fair that here in Xalapa we don’t do anything about it”, “I want the free cone day to come back!”, “The pandemic took it from us and now we must get it back!” It was disclosed on social media.
Dairy Queen Reveals When Free Cone Day Will Be
The protests were heard and the company indicated that the marches worked, therefore the return of the free cone offerwhich will take place on March 30, the brand even claims that this offer will be better than before.
The company pointed out that you should not buy nAnything in particular, just go directly to the branch. It is valid in all Dairy Queens in Mexico, subject to one cone per person and while supplies last. Only on March 30, 2023.
In the last days, dairy What in has promoted this offer with various creative publications. Consumers were very enthusiastic about this.

Not only does Dairy Queen run the free cone day deal, it does Ben and Jerry’s to compensate their clientele. However, at the time he also canceled it due to confinement.
