The Romanian brand continues with its modernization process and presents the Dacia MANIFESTO, an economical and ecologically efficient concept car intended for ‘Outdoor’ use that will serve as a laboratory for ideas and innovations.
Dacia has just presented the Concept Car that will mark the future of the brand in the coming years. We are talking about the MANIFESTO, a vehicle that does not announce a future modelbut rather represents the brand’s ambition to address the growing enthusiasm for activities outdoor without losing sight of efficiency and respect for the environment.
“The MANIFESTO Concept is a laboratory of ideas that show a vehicle connected to nature, respectful of the environment and with multiple innovations, some of which can be seen in the future vehicles of the Dacia range»says the official statement.
«The MANIFESTO also has a specific and removable battery, which supplies electricity through a domestic outlet»
The Dacia MANIFESTO offers a simpler experience
This is stated by Dacia, which is committed to a design without a filter between passengers and the environment. As a result, the MANIFESTO lacks doors, windows and even windshield.
“One is immersed in nature. And for outdoor activities, nothing better than a work surface that can deploy its multiple functions instead of the tailgate, “adds Dacia.
“Passengers feel close to nature while remaining connected to the services offered by their smartphone: simple, efficient and economical, the approach “Bring your Own Device” by Dacia allows the smartphone to be fully integrated into the dashboard and the on-board computer. This system has already been proposed in several models of the brand and will continue to evolve in the future”, explains the Romanian brand.
The MANIFESTO Concept reveals another innovation that Dacia also wants to introduce in future models: YouClipa system that allows a series of useful and modular accessories to be attached in a very simple way.
Another detail to highlight is its single headlightwhich is also removable to transform into a powerful flashlight.
The Dacia MANIFESTO is robust and ECO-Smart
The MANIFESTO’s ‘country’ philosophy, connected to nature, makes it necessary to design a robust vehicle capable of facing all the challenges it offers.
In this sense, Dacia imagines a future with 4 wheel drivea very generous ground clearance associated with large tires and a body prepared to face the most difficult terrain.
Not only that, the MANIFESTO concept has an interior that can be washed with a simple jet of waterwhile the seat covers are removable and can be transformed into a sleeping bag in the blink of an eye.
For its part, the modular roof can carry all kinds of loads thanks to some drop-down fixing bars in multiple configurations. And as the brand reminds us, Dacia has already stood out in this area with the innovative Sandero Stepway or Jogger modular roof bars, which Duster will soon join.
The MANIFESTO also has a specific and removable battery, which supplies electricity through a domestic socket. This makes the Concept MANIFESTO become a source of energy to accompany the activities outdoor.
But it is not enough to prepare to overcome all the challenges that nature presents, you also have to respect it. In this sense, Dacia is committed to a vehicle that minimizes the environmental footprint. Compact and lightweight, the MANIFESTO limits its energy consumption and uses a material called Starkle in their plastics. This material is made from recycled polypropylene and is distinguished by its speckled appearance.
Inside, cork is also used to cover the dashboard and the «a non-pneumatic tire is another of the innovative elements of the vehicle, since it points to ecology and savings. Its principle is durability, it is puncture-proof and can be preserved for the entire useful life of the vehicle”, Dacia points out.
