Cyberpunk 2077 had a very bumpy launch, especially in its versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. But after a year and several updates behind it, the CD Projekt RED title seems to have improved considerably, especially after the next-gen version release. Without a doubt, Cyberpunk 2077 has the most enviable potential, but even with the promised update for the next generation consoles, a lot of content that was removed at the time, remains the same.
Some time ago we found out that Cyberpunk 2077 has a monorail to finish, but would have been removed due to time constraints at the time. We all thought that the walkable NCART subway would be added in the future with some update, but now CD Projekt RED has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077’s rumored subway will not be coming to Night City, at least for now.
All this content removed in Cyberpunk 2077 could be added through the DLC
Cyberpunk 2077’s Rumored Subway Won’t Come to Night City
CD Projekt RED Global Community Manager Marcin Momot replied to a Twitter user asking about the subway under construction in Night City, and if it will end up in the game. To which Momot replied: «Sorry to break the rumours… but there are no plans to add the subway into the game.«
Sorry to be the buzz killer but that’s not it. There are no plans to add meter to the game.

Cyberpunk 2077 already has a fast travel system, but not one that is intertwined with Night City, as this coveted, half-built subway might have. Still, PC gamers are in luck, as one user has added the Cyberpunk 2077 subway in Night City through an interesting mod.
