CD PROJEKT RED today announced that Cyberpunk 2077 has just received its latest free update, introducing players to the next-generation Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 version of the game, and improving on the platform’s original releases.
With Patch 1.5: Next-Gen Update, Cyberpunk 2077 harnesses the added power of the latest generation of console hardware, enabling 4K and ray tracing features with dynamic scaling on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, faster load times fast and a variety of visual and technical improvements.
On PlayStation 5, the game will also use the DualSense controller’s adaptive triggers and haptic feedback functionalities. Additionally, the next-gen update also adds Spanish voice support in the Americas for players who own Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
The studio has released two Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 gameplay videos. Players who want to try the game before they buy can do so courtesy of a limited-time free next-gen trial available on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation. 5. The trial version will be available for 30 days, until March 15 at 17:00 CET, and will allow players the option to continue their adventure after purchase.
