Interacting with the DeFi ecosystem with greater security
Ledger’s hardware wallet allows you to keep your cryptocurrency offline and is considered one of the safest ways to store cryptocurrency for this very reason. Now, Through Crypto.com, users will be able to use their cryptocurrencies associated with a Ledger hardware wallet to interact with DApps.
To do this, in the Crypto.com wallet extension, you must go to the side menu and select the “Import Wallet” option. Later you will select “Connect to Ledger”.
Crypto.com will ask you to select one of three available networks from which the Ledger wallet will be imported: EVM, Crypto.org, and Cosmos.
You will then need to physically connect your Ledger wallet and enter the PIN associated with it. Important! You must have Ledger Liver installed with the corresponding application for the network. Ledger Live is an offline solution that allows you to send and receive cryptocurrencies without the need for a physical connection to the device.
Once you have connected your Ledger to the wallet extension, you will be able to specifically select which wallet address you want to import.
In this way, to carry out transactions, you must physically connect your Ledger and confirm them with your PIN. Obviously, this adds an additional layer of security that will allow users to easily interact on Web3.
The alternatives to interact with the Web3 increase
