Drain the liquid from tofu block and with the help of a knife cut into sticks approximately one cm thick.
In a food processor, dump oats, polenta, sunflower seeds and chia. Blend for a few minutes to break the seeds and integrate with the oats and polenta. The final mixture will be the batter. Reserve.
In a deep plate, break the egg, season with salt, pepper and a pinch of turmeric. Beat for a few seconds with a fork to incorporate air. Reserve.
Take each portion of tofu, bathe in the egg on both sides and then coat in the previous mixture.
Follow the same procedure until you finish all the tofu portions.
To adjust air fryer at 200 ºC, and add the portions in an even layer. With a kitchen brush, paint the surface with olive oil. Cook in the air for 8 to 10 minutes until it is achieved the crispy and golden surface. However, the cooking time will depend on the preset function of the fryer.
Battered tofu cooked in this way requires minimal oil and is ready in less than 15 minutes.
Depending on the number of servings of tofu, you may be left over or under batter and the same goes for the egg. In the case, you can lighten the egg with milk.
