Sales and digital channels grow
The income of the company rose 16.5% to 37,569.5 million pesos, while those of the commercial division, which considers the sales of departmental chains, rose 15.4% to 32,953.2 million pesos.
The operating flow (or ebitda) of this period reached 5,189 million pesos, 5.3% above the figure for 2022, while the net profit from the controlling party was 2,143 million pesos, 4% less than the previous year, according to the financial report.
In chain stores Liverpoolsame-store sales – those with more than a year in operation had an increase of 15% compared to the same period in 2022. The growth in transactions was 13.4%, while the average ticket was 1.3%.
For suburbiasame store sales have an increase of 3.1% in the quarter compared to the first quarter of 2022. Transactions increased 3.7% and the average ticket decreased 0.7%.
The chain maintains the growth of its digital channelswhich reported a 24.5% share, an advance of 280 basis points. Click & Collect reached 36% of digital sales, 4 percentage points above 2022, while direct store deliveries represented 16% of total home deliveries.
The company also strengthens its logistics chain and in the quarter, deliveries in two days or less increased 35% compared to the same period of the previous year, with a participation of 39%, basically the same as the previous year.
After last year the department store chain presented some shortages in its stockthis year inventories increased almost 21% compared to the same period in 2022.
