The community itself has not failed its appointment. Last week we told you that the Red Dead Online cowboys were preparing the definitive goodbye to the multiplayer mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. All set for July 13 to be one year since the Rockstar’s last big update.
This has happened and social networks, along with the servers of the work, have been filled with players sharing images with their best clothes to say goodbye. A portrait that there are still many users who are passionate about a title that the company has not taken full advantage of.

Today the Community of #RedDeadOnline We say goodbye to the game since Rockstar officially killed it.
It gave me very good moments and I had a lot of fun and it hurts a lot to say goodbye.

A real shame, that they make the decision to invest more in games like GTAVI, having a theme and a game as beautiful as RDR2. pic.twitter.com/yV6vmtR7VS

Through the hashtags of #SaveRedDeadOnline Y #RedDeadOnlineFuneral, the community has come together for this last great event. However, Rockstar’s response was immediate and it was not exactly the most pleasant of all.
And it is that the company recognized that, beyond recurring monthly events, it will not release a massive update with substantial changes. The reason? Focus all the team’s efforts on GTA Online and, above all, put the spotlight on GTA VI. So much so that the remasters of GTA IV and the first Red Dead Redemption have been cancelled.
