Customer experience is key marketing and, although it seems remote, it also applies to football.
Receiving the client well, attending to their needs and paying special attention to their tastes will make the difference between those who return and those who do not.
The customer experience (or CX, for short) has become the focus of most brands in recent times, as companies have realized the importance of this in keeping consumers satisfied and brand loyal.
A great customer experience requires something that not all brands have: a consumer-centric mindset.
A good customer experience translates into multiple benefits:
- Customers increase
- Increase customer engagement
- Increase customer conversions
- Increase customer loyalty and retention
- New prospects are found
- Improved crisis management
- Reduces cost of service and marketing
All this they seem to know in the Copenhagenwhere the club, along with a group of supporters, handed out free beers to Sevilla fans who traveled to Denmark to watch a match of the Champions League.
A video that went viral shows employees and supporters of Denmark’s FC Copenhagen descending the stadium’s stands to buy beer for Sevilla fans who traveled almost 3,000 km to cheer on their team.
So even though Sevilla barely managed a 0-0 draw on their visit to FC Copenhagen, its fans left the Parken Stadion with a smile after the Danish club treated them to free beer.
The video of the beer entertainment, which was published by Copenhagen on its social networks, has reached the world’s media as an example of good practice.
“Salud Sevilla, thank you very much for traveling to Copenhagen,” says the text with which FC Copenhagen shared the video.
