Fans have been waiting for a sequel to Max Payne and LA Noire for a long time, and now some speculation has started to surface following Take-Two’s latest financial report, in which some believe they have found clues about a continuation of these two games. Until now we have had the rumors of a Max Payne Definitive Edition that recently raised hope among those waiting for the return of the antihero.
Take-Two acquired L.A. Noire from Australian developer Team Bondi. And although Remedy created the first two adventures starring Max Payne, Rockstar Games was in charge of the third installment of the game. The CEO spoke highly of Take-Two’s diverse game portfolio, which apparently includes sequels to many of [sus] dear franchises. It was also noted that Zelnick shared a presentation of slides with images of LA Noire, Max Payne 3 and Midnight Clubwhich has also been dormant for the past few years, which would be an interesting lead into a sequel to Max Payne and LA Noire.
