As is customary, the red cinema chain always gets its act together during any time of the year to put together the most attractive thematic cycles. And now it’s time to enter the Christmas season and therefore Cinemex will bring back several Christmas classics to its movie theaters.
If you are a fan of watching the hottest movies and wholesome during the coldest time of the year, this cycle is for you. The Cinemex Christmas Classics cycle consists of the adventures of Kevin McAllister; of the most unusual and famous animated Christmas tape of all time; and an action tape set at Christmas that has become a must on dates.
Cinemex mentioned on its social networks that these films will be available from December 1 in all its sales. As usual, he did not mention any end date for the projection of this cycle, but we have learned that, in general, the chain is quite generous with its times.

My poor angel
Directed by the legendary Chris Columbus, this film is one of the Christmas Eve essentials. The central character is Kevin McAllister who daily debates whether he needs to have such a large family or if he would be better off alone. His wish comes true when his whole family goes away for Christmas and forgets him at home. What at first becomes a fun and pleasant experience, little by little shows his bad points until it leads to reflection and the importance of family during Christmas.
My poor little angel: Lost in New York
The success of the first installment made Columbus get down to work with a sequel. This time the bet was huge and the level of risk even bigger. Kevin McAllister is now forgotten in New York City at one of the city’s most luxurious hotels. Once again there will be good and funny moments, but also danger when two potential thieves follow in his footsteps in search of revenge for everything that happened in the first film. Both the first and the second must be seen together, so it is good news that Cinemex decides to screen them both.
The strange world of Jack
It is probably the animated film of stop motion most famous of all time Also one of the most unusual Christmas movies ever seen. This musical directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton, tells the story of Jack Skellington, the Lord of Halloween. When he discovers Christmas he is so fascinated and decides to make improvements. It’s just that his vision is a bit dark and includes things like kidnapping Santa Claus and placing scary symbols everywhere. Can Christmas be saved or ruined?
Hard to Kill
A group of terrorists seized the top of a building in the city of Los Angeles and seized several hostages on the spot. Of all the inhabitants of the building, only a New York policeman named John McClane (Bruce Willis) manages to escape the assailants. Although he is off duty, duty calls, so he decides to face the kidnappers and come up with a plan to save all the hostages. Although the film does not sound very Christmassy, we can assure you that the festivity is present throughout the film. A worthy inclusion in the Cinemex Christmas Classics cycle.
Tickets will be on the Cinemex website very soon.
